Farmingdale industrial property trades for $4.2M

An industrial property in Farmingdale has sold for $4.2 million. 

Upper Restoration Inc., a restoration and cleaning company, purchased the two-story, 22,000-square-foot building on 1.75 acres at 222 Central Ave.  

The building, formerly occupied by Kinemotive Corporation, includes about 6,200 square feet of office space.

Upper Restoration, currently based in West Babylon, is a certified Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) that specializes in water and flood damage, fire damage, mold testing and remediation for commercial and residential properties on Long Island and throughout the New York metropolitan area. 

The company plans to invest in extensive renovations to the Farmingdale property that will begin this summer and will make it the firm’s new headquarters.
