David Winzelberg//August 21, 2025//

Ideal Home Care, a provider of in-home care services, and its educational affiliate Ideal School of Allied Health Care, are expanding and relocating to Islandia.
The company leased 22,000 square feet of office space at 2950 Express Drive South. Ideal will be more than doubling its office footprint, moving from about 10,000 square feet it now occupies at 300 Motor Parkway in Hauppauge.
The firm’s new Islandia space will not only serve as its administrative headquarters but will also accommodate nine classrooms for its affiliate Ideal School of Allied Health Care, which offers home health aide and nursing assistant programs.

Ideal Home Care was founded in 2009 by registered nurse Nicole Laborde. Laborde emigrated to the U.S. from Haiti in 1985 and graduated from Stony Brook University‘s School of Nursing in 2008. She has also worked as a staff nurse in the respiratory care unit at Stony Brook University Hospital.
Laborde was honored with a LIBN Diversity in Business Award in 2023.
Ideal Home Care offers a variety of services, including companion care, skilled nursing, physical therapy, personal care and other in-home support services. The Ideal School of Allied Health Care offers career-focused programs for practical nursing, nurse aides, home health aides, pharmacy technicians, phlebotomy, medical assistants, EKG technicians, medical insurance billing and coding and more.
Ralph Perna of Schacker Realty represented the tenant, as well as the landlord, Aresco Management, in the Islandia lease transaction.
