Long Island has lost a legendary developer and a rare human being. Jerry was a larger than life figure with a tremendous work ethic and exceptional vision. He had outstanding business savvy and rare people skills. He was tough, demanding, and fierce, yet was universally admired and respected by his tenants, brokers, contractors, and municipal officials. Despite his sometimes combative exterior, Jerry was loyal, caring, and principled. His loss is irreplaceable.
