Lake Success, a village in Nassau County, is located in the Town of North Hempstead in northwestern Long Island and borders the Little Neck area of the NYC borough of Queens. The village, incorporated in 1926, totals 1.9 square miles and, as of 2010, approximately 2,934 people reside in the primarily white-collar community. It is located in close proximity to the Long Island Expressway to its north and the Grand Central Parkway to its south with Lakeville Rd running north/south through it.

From 1948 to 1951 Lake Success was the temporary home of the United Nations, and the former headquarters of Canon USA, which has since relocated to Melville. Today, it’s the home of several office buildings along Marcus Avenue into nearby New Hyde Park, and boasts a championship golf course at the Village Club of Lake Success.
