Philip Shwom, SIOR CCIM, the company’s President has been with Schacker since 1984, and is considered to be one of the most knowledgable and respected advisors in the Long Island marketplace. His extensive technical understanding of lease and contract negotiations, construction, financial, tax, and environmental issues assist not only his personal clients, but those of other Schacker brokers as well. Mr. Shwom is one of just 4 brokers in the Long Island/New York city region to have been awarded both the performance based SIOR designation, and the education based CCIM designation.

Lawrence J. Bianco, the company's Executive Vice President has been a broker with the firm since 1986. A perennial top broker at Schacker Realty over the past decade, Mr. Bianco's creativity and ability to handle challenging assignments and resolve difficult issues has made him one of Long Island's most productive and respected brokers. His experience is an important resource enabling other Schacker Realty brokers to overcome obstacles and perform for our clients.

With a combined total of approximately 25 Million square feet, the Hauppauge Industrial Park and Heartland Business center are the 2 largest business parks in the State of New York. Schacker has completed millions of square feet in transactions in these nearby business parks, more than any other firm. Recently, Schacker represented Heartland Development, the single largest developer of these two parks and one of the largest developers in the Northeastern United States, in its bid to acquire the most important development site remaining on Long Island, the 500+ acre New York State owned PSPC campus located adjacent to Heartland Business Center.
