SCHACKER REPORTS ROBUST
INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITY IN NASSAU AND SUFFOLK

Melville
- The 130,000 sq ft building at 101 Marcus Drive
in Melville has been leased by Regent Baby Products
whichalso occupies a 100,000 sq ft warehouse in Jamaica,
Queens. The deal negotiated by Richard Weissman and
Joe Brownof Schacker Real Estate Corp., is the largest
lease for Nassau and Suffolk Counties in the industrial
category this year.

New Horizons Blvd. in North Amityville was purchased
by B&G Industries to consolidate their corporate
offices and distribution center under one roof. The
25,000 sq ft building was purchased from Director
Door. Philip Shwom and Joe Brown transacted the deal
for the buyer. The seller's broker was United Realty.
 Huntington
Chevrolet, a distributor of automobile parts leased
a 16,730 sq ft building at 40 Banfi Plaza in Farmingdale.
The 10 year lease was handled by procuring broker
Larry Bianco of Schacker Real Estate Corp. Rich Pisacone
of Sutton & Edwards represented the landlord.

West Hills Road was recently sold to Autosport
by Golf Life. Pete Vitanza of Schacker Real Estate
Corp. represented the seller with Robert Cleva of
Harlow Realty representing the buyer. 
Larry
Bianco of Schacker Real Estate Corp represented the
seller in a transaction involving a 7,921 sq ft commercial
building at 1389 Hempstead Turnpike in Elmont.
The purchaser was represented by Rich Pisacone of
Sutton & Edwards.
Bianco
also leased 13,300 sq ft at 132 Dupont St. in Plainview to Fancy Fixtures, a high end distributor of Kitchen
& Bath fixtures who will set up a showroom &
dist. center.
