In a move to provide full service industrial real estate services to its clients, Schacker Real Estate Corp., one of the most prominent and respected brokerage firms on long Island, recently instituted Schacker Property Management LLC. This division, headed by real estate veteran, Chris Ferencsik, will perform physical facility reviews, handle tenant relations, deal with lease negotiations, budgeting, inspections of property, the bidding and oversight of construction and renovation projects and many other services.

“We received requests for management services while working with our brokerage clients,” says Philip Shwom, President of Schacker. “In the past Schacker had performed management services, however the establishment of this new division represents a complete, independent approach to the management of property with the care and knowledge required to increase the value of an owner’s investment."

I've been in this business my whole life," says Chris Ferencsik who has a strong real estate management background and a BBA from Hofstra University. Among his many credentials, he is the current Chairman of the Industrial Development Agency of the Town of Babylon and a former Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals of Lindenhurst. He brings almost 20 years of real estate and building management experience to his position as President of Schacker Property Management LLC.
